Haiti, the Western Hemisphere’s poorest nation has been hit by a catastrophic 7.0 earthquake on January 12, 2010. Southern Haiti was tragically damaged: killing over two hundred thousand people, leaving many children homeless, orphaned, and needing medical attention. Over a million are wounded while many are still without help. The quake was so powerful that people 200 miles away could feel it. Crumbled homes, collapsed buildings and schools, broken power lines, loud cries for lost loved ones leave the Haitian children with no vision for a future. |

| A GLOBAL YOUTH BENEFIT CONCERT & BOOK DRIVE FOR HAITI KIDS |
GOAL: Bring Awareness, collect books and raise funds to rebuild schools for Haiti kids. Focusing on the importance of education and helping devastated Haiti kids through their recovery process to receive a basic education. In the U.S., a basic education is a necessity but in poor countries like Haiti, it’s a luxury. Every kid, no matter how poor, deserves a basic education. Our mission is to give Haiti kids a chance at a good start. By our team effort and our kids getting involved and doing their part, we are touching the hearts of a nation of kids that have lost so much. This is definitely not an overnight process nor a one time commitment. We are dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of these underprivileged kids through education. By donating and recycling books we are giving Haiti kids the opportunity to read, stimulate their imagination, hope, and dream, envision, and prepare for their future. |

| Many kids may not realize all that they can do to help out in Haiti. Helping kids find ways to help Haiti teaches empathy, builds a global community and gives kids the opportunity to make a direct difference by supporting efforts that will help rebuild schools, offer medical aid, provide shelter and clothing and restore hope for the Haitian children. |
